The differences in playa del carmen couldn't be bigger... in the tourist area, you will find well-to-do vacationers, one expensive shop after the other, and in between children who collect empty beer cans from the beach to get a few cents. Somehow not nice to watch when small children sell bracelets until late at night. We have been living in the Mexican district of playa del carmen for a few weeks now and somehow need to help the families a bit, follow us for more projects.
