Hey everyone! So thought I would fill you all in on the birds nest filled with eggs I found here at my job not to long ago. You can view the post here. First picture I took by standing below, and reaching up to get a snap. When I grabbed the latter they got spooked, and tucked themselves in the nest. I then found a worm, and proceeded to chew it up to feed my babies. ;)

@picyoudyer Your lucky to see such beautiful creature like birds hatching her eggs thanks for sharing 😉😉

Thanks! And I have to agree, usually there nests are out of reach and I never have seen them so up close!

I always find it interesting that the eggs themselves don't get bigger.

Also, are the eggs hatched now? I'm not sure if the bird pictured is one of the babies or it's one of the parents guarding the egg below.

Yes these are two of the baby's from the eggs. And actually I thought is was interesting, a couple weeks ago I went to check on them, and there where 4 eggs instead of 3! Ill go check in on them here in 20 min to see if another one hatched :)

Thanks for your comment!

I see, thanks for clarifying, can't wait to see them all. Does the new chicks need a mother to care for them?

Yeah I’m sure she is around. Haven’t seen her yet. I know I’m the front there is a team of birds that come around each year. 3 keeps look out while the others are off getting food, and taking care of the babies. Probably the same for these.
