Hey everyone! Here is my entry for the weekly contest hosted by @derangedvisions. This week's theme is landscapes. I have chosen a place that has been a special part of my family's life, from even when I was a kid! This is a famous Lovers Point located on 9 Mile Drive, in Monterey Peninsula. The body of water is Monterey Bay. This is a nice spot where you can BBQ, swim, or just chill on a bench to take in the scenery. But what we love it for, is the easy accessibility to the tide pools! We can spend hours looking for Crabs, Abalone, Sea Urchins, Sand Dollars and my favorite Star Fish. Which btw have only started to show up in the past couple years due to a disease that nearly killed them all off!

This place is incredible, I love the double tones the water has.
I’d spend hours here too; it’s understandable why it matters to you and your family.

Thank you!
