People put a scarecrow on their field to fool the birds. It's scary for them cause it made them think this is an actual person standing there on the ground.
Although i know this piece of old clothes and wood can't hurt me still it's a freakishly scary thing to see. But it's interesting too cause it has a unique meaning and specific form. It has a personality and a story behind.
between all the natural and aliveness around existence of a scarecrow is strange and spooky.
