In agriculture I have found one of the most useful ways in which to take advantage of time, I love cultivating my plants, watching them grow, get beautiful, develop and reach a happy harvest where I get food for my family.
This time I share with you my first crop of Turmeric, it is a ginger-like tuber that develops several thick rhizomes that are edible.
These rhizomes have a fleshy, orange pulp that is very tasty as a seasoning for food.
It took me between 6 and 8 months to obtain this harvest, I was very satisfied to see that the rhizomes thickened very well.
To harvest I dug around the plant and was careful not to damage the fruits, then I cleaned them with water.
Later I will put them to dehydrate in the sun to be able to keep them for longer and use them to prepare our meals at home.
