I am excited because I just built my first 3D printer for the farm today! It was not exactly a simple process, but I got it all together. Now that I have done the first one, the second will go much smoother. Not only that, but now, I am also going to be picking up a 3rd printer from my buddy that is upgrading his farm from Ender 3's to the new Bamboo Labs A13 Mini printers. So sure, I'll take an upgraded Ender 3 with a silent board and TPU profile for $100! Absolutely!
Anyway, got to get the second one built up tomorrow and then get them all leveled up and ready to start printing! I have a couple of colored rolls that I am going to use to print some of my first things to get the hang of it. I want to print up some organizational pieces for my workstation so that I can get everything all nice and tidy over here!
I am officially starting my decentralized manufacturing journey here on the homestead farm! The primary reason for buying these was to create and print all my own hydroponic setups and really anything else that I can create that I need so that I am not supporting the big box stores as much as inhumanly possible. The whole point of this homesteading journey is to be self-reliant. And well, 3D printing is a great step to that goal! Now, I have a new investment to DCA into, filament rolls, lol.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Be cool, be real, and always abide my dudes!
