Welcome back, Photography Lovers. In the previous post, I introduced Vanessa a client and how we initiated and produced stunning images from basic shots to fully retouched images. Today let us delve deeper by showcasing the diverse looks of this lovely client.
As a photographer, I believe that every portrait has a unique story to tell. Vanessa's shoot was no exception. Her radiant smile, the sparkle in her eyes, and her confidence in front of the camera all came together to create images that truly reflected her personality. The key to capturing such moments lies in establishing a comfortable and relaxed environment during the photoshoot.
The choice of using a high-speed sync with my Canon 70-200 f2.8 lens allowed me to play with the depth of field and create a dreamy bokeh effect in the background. Although the natural lighting was limited due to the overcast sky, it lent a soft and flattering touch to Vanessa's features. Taking multiple shots at different angles allowed me to later select the perfect shot that embodied her essence.
While the straight-out-of-camera (SOOC) shot was already impressive, I wanted to elevate the images to a whole new level through post-processing. For the commercial-grade edits, dodge and burn were my go-to techniques. These methods helped enhance the contrast, shadows, and highlights, making Vanessa's features pop while retaining a natural look.
The overall results are what is seen in the pictures above. I hope you enjoyed them
