Today we were on the roof of METU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. During this business visit, we discussed technical problems on the one hand, and on the other hand, I had the chance to prepare some beautiful hill views for you.
There are many economics and political science departments in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Business, economics, public administration and political science are a few of them.
This faculty, where hundreds of students receive education every year, trains Turkey's most qualified economy and management people and prepares them for life. Even though graduates cannot find a job as easily as before, they can get ahead by making a quick entry into the field of work. The education is entirely in English, and after graduation, the opportunity to work abroad is created.
These educational activities continue in a building that is approximately 50 years old. One of the oldest buildings of METU, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences building has been standing and functioning for a long time as one of the landmarks of the campus.

Bugün ODTÜ İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi'nin çatısındaydık. İş amaçlı yaptığımız bu ziyarette bir taraftan teknik sorunları ele aldık diğer taraftan da yine sizlere birkaç güzel tepe manzarası hazırlama şansım oldu.
İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi'nde birçok ekonomi ve siyaset bilimi bölümü bulunuyor. İşletme, iktisat, kamu yönetimi ve siyaset bilimi bunlardan birkaçı.
Her yıl yüzlerce öğrencinin eğitim aldığı bu fakülte Türkiye'nin en kalifiye ekonomi ve yönetim insanlarını yetiştiriyor ve onları hayata hazırlıyor. Mezunları eskisi kadar rahat iş bulamasa da çalışma alanına hızlı bir giriş yaparak öne geçebiliyorlar. Eğitim tamamen İngilizce ve mezun olduktan sonra yurt dışında çalışma olanağı da yaratılmış oluyor.
Yaklaşık 50 yıllık bir binada bu eğitim faaliyetleri sürdürülüyor. Odtü'nün en eski binalarından birisi olan İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi binası, kampüsün simge yapılarından birisi olarak uzun zamandır ayakta ve işlev görmeye devam ediyor.
