Hoy me sumo a la iniciativa de nuestra comunidad de @empowetalent, donde hablamos sobre el significado del talento y qué mejor forma de hacerlo relacionándolo con nuestras experiencias de vida.
El éxito lo defino como la obtención de un logro y su permanencia en el tiempo. Me considero una mujer exitosa, quien ha logrado cada una de sus metas y quien siempre está en constante evolución, fijándose metas a corto plazo.Al principio, mi primera meta que recuerdo fue el terminar mis estudios de bachillerato y, con mucho esfuerzo, constancia y dedicación, pude recibir mi título como Técnico Medio Forestal y sentí una gran satisfacción.
Me aventuraba a un conocimiento distinto relacionado con el entorno en el que me encontraba en ese momento, pero no era lo que quería hacer en mi vida. Después, enfocada en lo que quería, comencé mis estudios como periodista; era un sueño cumplido para mí.
Hello friends, happy Tuesday to all, I wish you all well. I'm Yeli Marín, welcome to my blog. Today I join the initiative of our community @empowetalent, where we talk about the meaning of talent and what better way to do it relating it to our life experiences.
I define success as the achievement of an accomplishment and its permanence in time. I consider myself a successful woman, who has achieved each one of her goals and who is always in constant evolution, setting short term goals. At the beginning, my first goal that I remember was to finish my high school studies and, with a lot of effort, perseverance and dedication, I was able to receive my degree as a Forestry Technician and I felt a great satisfaction.
I was venturing into a different knowledge related to the environment I was in at the time, but it was not what I wanted to do in my life. Later, focused on what I wanted, I began my studies as a journalist; it was a dream fulfilled for me.
Recuerdo que cuando presentaba mi tesis en el sexto año, cuando me iba a graduar de forestal, me decían si continuaría la ingeniería forestal y mi respuesta fue que yo quería ser periodista, pero como había comenzado ese estudio, debía terminarlo. Finalmente, hoy puedo decir que lo cumplí y me siento feliz por ello.
Al principio fue complicado estudiar en la universidad, pues debía trabajar, ser mamá y estudiar en la noche. Con el tiempo me fui acostumbrando y le puse mucho empeño, ya que en ese momento iniciaba mi propia familia y era complicado sobrellevar todo, pues estudiando tuve mis dos embarazos y el compromiso continuaba.
Tuve altos y bajos durante mi formación profesional, pero nunca decaí y fue así como obtuve mi primer título como Técnico Superior en Producción de Medios de Comunicación. Pasaron muchas cosas en este proceso y la recompensa fue escuchar mi nombre aquel día en ese auditorio mientras anunciaban mi nombre para recibir mi galardón.
I remember that when I was presenting my thesis in the sixth year, when I was about to graduate from forestry, I was asked if I would continue my forestry engineering studies and my answer was that I wanted to be a journalist, but since I had started that study, I had to finish it. Finally, today I can say that I did it and I am happy about it.
At first it was complicated to study at the university, because I had to work, be a mother and study at night. With time I got used to it and I put a lot of effort into it, since at that time I was starting my own family and it was complicated to cope with everything, since I had two pregnancies while studying and the commitment continued.
I had ups and downs during my professional training, but I never gave up and that's how I got my first degree as a Media Production Technician. Many things happened in this process and the reward was to hear my name that day in that auditorium while they announced my name to receive my award.
Con el tiempo y mi constancia, recibí mi título como Licenciada en Comunicación Social, fue una gran felicidad para mí y quise más, quiero el máximo estudio y por eso me aventuré a seguir con una maestría. Mi meta final es recibir mi título como doctora en mi carrera, pero esto tomará algo de tiempo porque aún me encuentro cursando mis estudios como magíster y en este proceso comencé a estudiar inglés.
Profesionalmente me siento una mujer exitosa, pues estudié la carrera que quería y me sigo formando académicamente. También tengo un hogar constituido, mi casa propia, patrimonio de mi familia. Cumplí mi meta de tener los hijos que quería y actualmente me desempeño como periodista institucional a distancia.
Lo que me permite dedicarme a crear contenido en mi blog personal, estudiar mi maestría y ver las clases de inglés, y lo que más me gusta es ser mamá a tiempo completo y no perderme ningún momento del crecimiento de mis hijos. También he comenzado a dedicarme tiempo a mí, hago ejercicios y conecto más con mi ser y mis propósitos en la vida, sin dejar de soñar y sin dejar de seguir planificando mis metas en el futuro. Soy una mujer exitosa porque Dios me acompaña en cada uno de mis pasos.
With time and my perseverance, I received my degree as a Bachelor in Social Communication, it was a great happiness for me and I wanted more, I want the maximum study and that is why I ventured to continue with a master's degree. My ultimate goal is to receive my degree as a doctor in my career, but this will take some time because I am still pursuing my master's degree and in this process I started to study English.
Professionally, I feel I am a successful woman, because I studied the career I wanted and I am still training academically. I also have a home of my own, my own house, my family's patrimony. I achieved my goal of having the children I wanted and I am currently working as an institutional journalist at a distance.
This allows me to dedicate myself to creating content on my personal blog, studying my master's degree and watching English classes, and what I love the most is being a full-time mom and not missing any moment of my children's growth. I have also started to dedicate time to myself, I exercise and I connect more with my being and my purposes in life, without stopping dreaming and without stopping planning my goals for the future. I am a successful woman because God accompanies me in each of my steps.
