Un gusto estar una vez más con ustedes, para compartir un cover en piano. Para hoy tocaré una canción de una banda británica llamada Slowdive, creo que ya he compartido algunas canciones de ellos en piano.
Esta banda me gusta mucho y es uno de los grupos pioneros del 'Shoegaze', un estilo muy interesante de rock alternativo donde los efectos de guitarra son prominentes, como el chorus, delay, reverbs y algo de pequeña distorsión.
Las voces también suelen ser algo difusas y difíciles de entender por el uso de efectos en ellas. Aun así, suena muy bien y es un estilo de música que me gusta. Para hacer este cover en piano también siento que fue necesario usar algo de estos efectos para darle ese toque característico del Shoegaze. Usé más reverbs y un poco de eco para sonara algo melancólico, pero sin exagerar, y una ecualizacion más orientada a los registros medios y graves.
Esta canción fue sugerida por uno de mis suscriptores, pero en realidad yo la tenía en mi lista de música pendiente por aprender, así que aproveché y la aprendí, es bastante fácil de tocar.

Nice to be with you once again, to share a piano cover. For today I will play a song from a british band called Slowdive, I think I have already shared some of their songs on piano.
I like this band a lot and they are one of the pioneer bands of 'Shoegaze', a very interesting style of alternative rock where guitar effects are prominent, like chorus, delay, reverbs and some small distortion.
The vocals also tend to be a bit fuzzy and hard to understand because of the use of effects on them. Still, it sounds great and it's a style of music I like. To do this piano cover I also feel it was necessary to use some of these effects to give it that characteristic shoegaze feel. I used more reverbs and a bit of echo to make it sound a bit melancholic, but without overdoing it, and a more mid and low register oriented EQ.
This song was suggested by one of my subscribers, but actually I had it on my list of music to learn, so I took the opportunity to learn it, it's quite easy to play.
