A necessary introduction
Recently, I celebrated my second birthday in this adventure called #hive.
Since I was about to have my first birthday, I decided that my birthday present would be to hold an interactive scientific workshop to give back to others what #hive had given me.
Thus, on July 5, 2023 I held the first workshop, with the participation of several members of the hive who work with me and, in that same event we launched the call for the II workshop.
For reasons beyond my control we were unable to hold the workshop on the 5th, but 18 days later our institute served as the venue for the 2nd birthday of this servant.
The topics addressed
Prior to the workshop, we had asked the participants to present their needs in terms of topics and, thus, we had the opportunity to share about the communities that we were asked to address: #leofinance, #3speak and #ecency, for the doubts and possibilities of publication.
Similarly, the participants were asked to bring their main concerns about the ecosystem, to value it in the great event of the Cuban community of #hivecuba to be held in Havana, in late August 2024.
The workshop
Among the activities carried out at the workshop were:
- The presentation of a video, about the participation of the members of our members, in the different events in which we have participated in these two years. Among others we presented images of our participation in: HiveCubaCon, Book Fair, I Interactive Scientific Workshop on Hive, I national e-sports event among others.
- The honoree presented the results of his management in these years, from the database he has in which he keeps a record of the publications, the community in which it is uploaded, number of comments, total votes received and the monetization achieved.
- The essential elements of the Leofinance, Ecency and 3speak communities were explained.
- The members' perspectives and challenges for the rest of the year were discussed.
- Positive elements and concerns of our members were discussed.
Positive and negative experiences of our members
Several elements were addressed in the final part of the workshop. Among the elements that coincided were the following:
Positive
- Hive has been an adequate space for creation.
- It has allowed us to grow both professionally and humanly.
- We have met new friends.
- It has allowed us to socialize with other members, in the different events in which we have participated.
- It has been an economic help for our members.
Among the negative elements
- The devaluation or downward fluctuation of the currency.
- Problems with the monetization of some members.
- The number of members who are leaving the ecosystem.
- Uncertainty with the future of the ecosystem.
A final comment
This was my second birthday and the second workshop I have held, with the aim of explaining our progress on the platform, assessing our performance and projecting actions for the future.
It is true that in this year the results achieved were not as expected, but I consider that I must continue to improve my knowledge and the presentation of publications, to try to achieve all the objectives for which I entered this ecosystem.
I can only wait for my next birthday, when I will be celebrating my third year in @hive.

Una introducción necesaria
Recientemente, cumplí mi segundo aniversario en esta aventura llamada #hive. Desde que estaba por cumplir mi primer año decidí que mi regalo de cumpleaños sería realizar un taller científico interactivo para devolver a los demás lo que #hive me había dado.
De esta manera, el 5 de julio del 2023 realicé el primer taller, con la participación de varios miembros de la colmena que trabajan conmigo y, en ese mismo evento lanzamos la convocatoria para el II taller.
Por cuestiones ajenas a mi voluntad no pudimos realizar el taller el mismo día 5, pero, 18 días después nuestro instituto sirvió de sede al II cumpleaños de este servidor.
Los temas abordados
Previo a la realización del taller habíamos solicitado a los participantes que nos plantearan las necesidades de temas y, así tuvimos la posibilidad de compartir sobre las comunidades que nos pidieron abordar: #leofinance, #3speak y #ecency, por las dudas y las posibilidades de publicación.
De igual manera, se les pidió a los participantes llevar sus principales inquietudes en torno al ecosistema, para valorarlo en el gran evento de la comunidad cubana de #hivecuba que se desarrollará en La Habana, a finales de agosto de 2024.
El taller
Dentro de las actividades realizadas en el taller estuvieron:
• La presentación de un video, sobre la participación de los miembros de nuestros miembros, en los diferentes eventos en los que hemos participado en estos dos años. Entre otros presentamos imágenes de nuestra participación en: HiveCubaCon, Feria del Libro, I Taller Científico Interactivo sobre Hive, I evento nacional de deportes electrónicos entre otros.
• El homenajeado presentó los resultados de su gestión en estos años, a partir de la base de datos que tiene en la que lleva un registro sobre las publicaciones, comunidad en la que la sube, cantidad de comentarios, total de votos recibidos y la monetización alcanzada.
• Se explicaron los elementos esenciales sobre las comunidades Leofinance, Ecency y 3speak.
• Se abordaron las perspectivas y los retos de los miembros para lo que falta de año.
• Se abordaron los elementos positivos y lo que más preocupa a nuestros miembros.
Experiencias positivas y negativas de nuestros miembros
Varios fueron los elementos abordados en la parte final del taller. Dentro de los elementos coincidentes están los siguientes:
Positivo
• Hive ha sido un espacio de creación adecuado.
• Nos ha permitido un crecimiento tanto profesional como humano.
• Hemos conocido nuevas amistades.
• Nos ha permitido socializar con otros miembros, en los diferentes eventos en los que hemos participado.
• Ha sido una ayuda económica para nuestros miembros.
Dentro de los elementos negativos
• La devaluación o fluctuación a la baja de la moneda.
• Los problemas con la monetización de algunos miembros.
• El número de miembros que están abandonando el ecosistema.
• Incertidumbre con el futuro del ecosistema
Un comentario final
Este ha sido mi segundo cumpleaños y el segundo taller que he realizado, con el objetivo de explicar nuestros avances en la plataforma, valorar nuestra actuación y proyectar las acciones de cara al futuro.
Es cierto que en este año los resultados alcanzados no fueron los esperados, pero, considero que debo seguir mejorando mis conocimientos y la presentación de las publicaciones, para intentar alcanzar todos los objetivos por los que entré en este ecosistema.
Solo me resta esperar al próximo cumpleaños, en el que estaré celebrando mi tercer año en @hive.
