Sensō-ji is a must visit when you are in Tokyo. It is the oldest temple in the city, and it is free!
One amazing thing is that it's open 24h so you can enjoy the day wandering around the big market in front of it and come back at night to have more tranquility and be able to take beautiful pictures like these.
This first two pictures are of Hōzōmon Gate, the main entrance to the temple. I think it is way more appealing than the actual temple. If you get the right spot you will get in frame the entrance and the pagoda next to it. It wasn't easy to get the shot with no people and a bit tricky to get both, but if you try you will get it too.
This last picture is the actual temple of Sensō-ji. During the day all those stalls will be open and selling an infinitive of items, but after my morning visit I decided to go at night for two main reasons. One, less people for a clear photograph. We are talking about Tokyo, one of the most crowded cities in the world, so taking a picture with just a few people is not easy. And two, to catch the lights on. The temple and the area look totally different during the day and at night. When those lights are on it looks amazing.
