Desde hace mucho tiempo he visto videos en TikTok de personas que pintan libros para colorear y son realmente satisfactorios, utilizaban marcadores que eran completamente diferentes a los que he visto en toda mi vida, siempre notaba que el color quedaba uniforme y muy bonito, investigando un poco descubrí que son marcadores acrílicos, estos marcadores no solo sirven para pintar en hojas, tambien puede usarse en superficies como madera, vidrio, tela e incluso zapatos, además de que al momento de pintar en hojas el color no se traspasa ni mancha la hoja por detrás, y realmente quería unos para colorear mis libros de mándalas cuando tuviese tiempo libre o incluso practicar dibujos libres con ellos, sin embargo, aun no se muy bien como funcionan ni como utilizarlos correctamente, ya que últimamente estoy más acostumbrada al arte digital que al arte tradicional, hoy por fin me llegaron mis marcadores y quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia probándolos por primera vez.
For a long time I have seen videos on TikTok of people painting coloring books and they are really satisfying, they used markers that were completely different from the ones I have seen in my whole life, I always noticed that the color was uniform and very nice, doing some research I discovered that they are acrylic markers, these markers are not only used to paint on leaves, they can also be used on surfaces such as wood, glass, fabric and even shoes, I really wanted some to color my mandala books when I had free time or even practice free drawings with them, however, I still don't know very well how they work or how to use them correctly, since lately I'm more used to digital art than traditional art, today I finally got my markers and I want to share with you my experience trying them for the first time.

Me emocioné muchísimo al abrirlos, sentí ese olor a nuevo y ver todos esos colores me hizo sentir muy feliz, aunque me molesto un poco que no venían ordenados y los probe rápidamente sin ordenarlos en una hoja ya que no podía esperar a ver como se sentía pintar con ellos, la punta es como un pincel, suave y con bastante tinta, me impresiona mucho la pigmentación que tienen, incluso borraba las líneas del cuaderno al pintar encima.
I was very excited when I opened them, I felt that new smell and seeing all those colors made me feel very happy, although I was a little annoyed that they did not come ordered and I tested them quickly without ordering them on a sheet because I could not wait to see how it felt to paint with them, the tip is like a brush, soft and with enough ink, I am very impressed with the pigmentation they have, even erased the lines of the notebook to paint over them.
No podía esperar mas para probarlos directamente sobre un dibujo, específicamente use mi libro de mándalas que esta con muchos dibujos sin empezar, quise utilizar azules, morados y rosas que son colores que me gustan muchísimo, algo que me encanta de estos marcadores es lo suave que se siente al pintar, recuerdo pintar mis mándalas con colores de madera y tardar horas rellenando un pequeño espacio ya que tenia que pasar el color repetidas veces para obtener una buena pigmentación y con estos marcadores fue todo lo contrario, una sola pasada y quedaba muy lindo el color.
I couldn't wait any longer to try them directly on a drawing, specifically I used my mandala book that is with many unstarted drawings, I wanted to use blues, purples and pinks which are colors that I like very much, something I love about these markers is how soft it feels when painting, I remember painting my mandalas with wood colors and taking hours filling a small space because I had to pass the color repeatedly to get a good pigmentation and with these markers was the opposite, a single pass and the color was very nice.
Intente hacer que mi pulso no me fallara tanto, pero es un poco difícil, supongo que debo acostumbrarme, sin embargo hay algo que me molesta un poco de estos colores y es que siento que se ven demasiado “pastel” para mi gusto, los colores oscuros no son lo suficientemente profundos y los claros llegan a tocar esa línea de colores pastel, en algunas zonas intente dar 2 o 3 capas para ver si obtenía un color mas intenso, pero realmente nunca lo logre, a pesar de eso me gusto bastante como quedo mi mándala, tarde casi 3 horas en terminarlo ya que habían lugares muy pequeños que pintar y eso hacia que se me dificultara tener precisión.
I tried to make my pulse not to fail me so much, but it is a little difficult, I guess I have to get used to it, however there is something that bothers me a little of these colors and I feel that they look too “pastel” for my taste, the dark colors are not deep enough and the light ones touch that line of pastel colors, in some areas I tried to give 2 or 3 coats to see if I could get a more intense color, but I never really achieved it, despite that I quite liked how my Mandala turned out, it took me almost 3 hours to finish it because there were very small places to paint and that made it difficult for me to be precise.
No sé si es el tipo de hoja que hace ver los colores tan opacos o simplemente son los marcadores que son asi, a pesar de todo eso me emociona tener esta variedad de colores y se que me ayudara muchísimo a completar mi libro y a desestresarme en algunos momentos del día, me encantaría probar haciendo un dibujo libre pero tengo mucho miedo de que quede mal jajaja, creo que jamás he realizado un dibujo completo con marcadores y no sé cómo empezar, quizás algún día lo intente, por ahora, pintare mándalas hasta aburrirme ¡Hasta luego!
I don't know if it's the type of paper that makes the colors look so opaque or it's just the markers that are like that, despite all that I'm excited to have this variety of colors and I know it will help me a lot to complete my book and to de-stress in some moments of the day, I would love to try doing a free drawing but I'm very afraid that it will look bad hahaha, I think I have never done a complete drawing with markers and I don't know how to start, maybe someday I will try, for now, I will paint mandalas until I get bored, see you later!
