Today some quick views of Capri the italian island of limestone,on the coast of Naples with breathtaking nature and landscapes, it was a nice time of year to visit. I hoppe you all have a good week. A cable car runs between the Marina Grande ferry port and the center of Capri town, as well as additional buses and taxis. The town is a car-free zone, tourists cannot take there cars.
The best time for a stroll is early in the morning, or late in the evening when all the day trippers leave the island. A beautiful walk from the top to Marina Grande, with many stairs as well as wonderful views, should not be missed.
The name Capri come from the Latin word caprae, meaning Goats, or the Greek word kapros, meaning wild boar, both reflect the wildlife of the island. Capri was an attractiveretreat for Roman emperors.
In the background the highest mountain of the island Monte Solaro, on the other side is Monte Tiberio.
A ferry will bring you in Marina Grande on Capri, from Napoli for about 20 Euros and approximately one hour, depending which ferry you take.
With a ferry or a boat back to Naples or Amalfi Coast a dream, a very pleasant trip.
Thanks for your visit, have a wonderful day!
