Desde los primeros años de edad por razones del desarrollo motriz y creativo tenemos contacto con un juguete didáctico que sin duda alguna nos cautivó por muchas horas de nuestra vida. Es que no solo se trataba de jugar y pasar el tiempo, con él podíamos tratar de plasmar lo que nos atreviéramos a imaginar. Creo que antes de dibujar una figura en concreto pudimos darle forma mas entendible a algo a través de los Legos. Es una diversión para todas las edades.
Volver a tener una emoción de niños fue lo que pude sentir al vivir la oportunidad de ver una exposición estupenda de figuras hechas con legos.
Eran esculturas construidas con miles de piezas cada una, lo que representaba entre 50 y 90 horas de trabajo, de acuerdo con el tamaño y la complejidad de cada representación. Todo esto para celebrar los "90 años de historia", de Legos.
From the first years of age, for reasons of motor and creative development, we have contact with a didactic toy that undoubtedly captivated us for many hours of our lives. It was not only to play and pass the time, with it we could try to capture whatever we dared to imagine. I think that before drawing a specific figure we could give a more understandable form to something through the Legos. It's fun for all ages.
I felt the excitement of being a child again when I had the opportunity to see a wonderful exhibition of figures made with legos.
They were sculptures built with thousands of pieces each, which represented between 50 and 90 hours of work, according to the size and complexity of each representation. All this to celebrate the "90 years of history" of Legos.

Todo empieza con dos guardias con una estatura de 1.65m aproximadamente, para dar la bienvenida a la sala de exposición.
It all starts with two guards, approximately 5'6" tall, welcoming visitors to the showroom.
Seguidamente, encontramos a uno de los Minions y a Popy, de Trolls; dos personajes que han marcado huella para los niños y los no tan chicos.

Desde DC Comics, tuvo lugar la presencia uno de los más conocidos superhéroes Batman y el villano que más me gusta de la franquicia, el Joker, haciendo de las suyas en el corazón de sus fanáticos.
From DC Comics, there was the presence of one of the best known superheroes Batman and the villain that I like the most of the franchise, the Joker, making his way into the hearts of his fans.
Para los amantes de las historias espaciales y los guardianes espaciales también hubo para apreciar con elementos de Star War y el capitán Buzz, de Toy Story, el cual tenía mi altura y sin dudas, una de mis piezas favoritas; está lleno de detalles, una gran escultura, hasta el infinito y más allá.
For lovers of space stories and space guardians there was also to appreciate with elements of Star War and Captain Buzz, from Toy Story, which had my height and without a doubt, one of my favorite pieces; it is full of details, a great sculpture, to infinity and beyond.
El mundo animal fue fantástico. Dejando atónito a más de uno. Eran piezas imponentes aún siendo elaboradas con legos. Y dejó muy en claro que con Legos, realmente podemos hacer posible lo que sea.
The animal world was fantastic. Leaving more than one astonished. They were impressive pieces even though they were made with Legos. And it made it very clear that with Legos, we really can make anything possible.
Representación a escala de Estadios de futbol (Barcelona, Manchester y el Real Madrid), la Torre Eiffel y el Coliseo Romano, fueron las luces de la arquitectura en esta exposición. Perfecta para los fanáticos y amantes de los viajes ¿Y a ti, te gustaría construir y tener una replica hecha con Legos en tu lugar?
Scale representations of soccer stadiums (Barcelona, Manchester and Real Madrid), the Eiffel Tower and the Roman Colosseum were the architectural highlights of this exhibition. Perfect for fans and travel lovers. And you, would you like to build and have a replica made with Legos in your place?
La unión de estás pequeñas piezas llegaron a capturar elementos de la música que va desde la imagen de cantantes e instrumentos como el clásico piano, el arte desde las inspiraciones de Van Gogh, el arte pop, cuadros que representan un valor significativo para la cultura de varias edades. Hubo magia desde Disney hasta Harry Potter. También dieron espacio para Mario Bros, en la consola NINTENDO; permitiéndome recordar que con una así inicié mi experiencia con los videojuegos.
The union of these small pieces came to capture elements of music ranging from the image of singers and instruments such as the classic piano, art from the inspirations of Van Gogh, pop art, paintings that represent a significant value to the culture of various ages. There was magic from Disney to Harry Potter. They also gave space for Mario Bros, on the NINTENDO console; allowing me to remember that I started my experience with video games with one like this.
LEGO, tras esta celebración no solo permitió que disfrutáramos de creaciones a gran escala, sino que nos dejó en claro que la creatividad puede transformarse de algo que parece simple en una gran obra. Por otra parte, pudimos viajar en el tiempo abrazando la nostalgia desde el recuerdo y abriendo también así las puertas para que podamos llegar a ellos desde la construcción con legos. Durante este momento pude compartir gustos, experiencias, historias, sumando al presente lo que fuimos y podemos construir ahora.
Cuéntame, ¿cuál fue tu favorito? ¿Hay algún diseño personal que te gustaría construir con LEGO?
LEGO, after this celebration not only allowed us to enjoy large-scale creations, but also made it clear that creativity can transform something that seems simple into a great work. On the other hand, we were able to travel back in time embracing nostalgia from the memory and thus also opening the doors so that we can reach them from the construction with Legos. During this moment I was able to share tastes, experiences, stories, adding to the present what we were and what we can build now.
Tell me, which was your favorite, is there a personal design that you would like to build with LEGO?
Pronto les estaré contando sobre una nueva aventura en la Fundación Cultural de Providencia, porque les aseguro que debo regresar para ver qué maravillas esconde la sala que presenta "El Principito". No hubo tiempo, pero pronto la conoceremos.
