✨The way I got rid of Acne | TRETINOIN Review.

in #hive-1484413 days ago

If you have oily skin and acne, I sincerely hope that this can help you, as it helped me when I needed it.

I have had problems with acne since I was a teenager. My skin has always been oily and that resulted in open pores, spots and texture.

I followed many homemade recipes when I was young and inexperienced, which caused me more harm than good. Then I learned about skincare and I was able to control the oiliness of my skin a little, but the acne persisted.

Each skin is different. I used Niacinamide, Retinol, Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid, however I did not feel satisfied with the results even after finishing the entire bottle.

How did I discover Tetrinoin?

After much research on the subject, I found a dermatologist. When I went to his consultation, he recommended the use of a component called TRETINOIN. He warned me that it was a very strong component and had to be used following all instructions exactly, because otherwise it could damage my skin.

I received your recipe, but decided to search more on the subject before I decided to try it. Opinions were very diverse, for some it was a wonder and a miracle, for others the worst thing that had ever happened to them.

There were cases of completely renewed and beautiful skin, while other people had dryness, spots and even minor burns on the skin.

What separated both groups was how they had used it.

What is Tretinoin?

This medication belongs to the retinoid group and is administered to treat various skin problems. It is also known as retinoic acid, since it is a synthetic derivative of vitamin A.

What is Tretinoin used for?
  • Exfoliates the skin
  • Unclogs pores
  • Improves rough skin
  • Reduces fine wrinkles
  • Treats mild to moderate acne
  • Treats melasma and hyperpigmentation
  • Evens skin tone
Presentation and dosage
  • It is applied to the skin as a cream or gel.

So far everything seems pretty easy. So...why are there people who have not done well with this component?

    How to use Tretinoin correctly?

You should keep in mind that tretinoin is a strong retinoid (stronger than retinol), due to its exfoliating abilities it tends to dry out the skin.

That is why it is important to consult a dermatologist to see if it is compatible with your skin type. For example, dry or sensitive skin ALWAYS consult with your doctor first, as there may be restrictions, specifications or contraindications.

Tretinoin is not a routine daily face cream. It is a component that must be incorporated progressively and to tolerance. In the case of purified compounds it is dangerous to think "the more the better."

Everything must be done progressively, giving the skin the ability to assimilate this new component and let it act. So let's see controllable and satisfactory results.

Step by step for its use since you start using it

    1) Clean and dry your face with a neutral soap or one for your skin type.

    2) Use a hydrating serum (OPTIONAL, only if it is part of your routine)

    3) Apply a layer of facial cream moisturizer for your skin type (If you have oily skin and usually use moisturizing gel, for the day of the routine you use tetrinoin IF you must use moisturizing cream, avoid using the gel on this specific day).

    4) IMPORTANT: Apply ONE SMALL DROP of Tretinoin to your clean finger. That drop is enough for your entire face. Avoid the contours of your mouth and nose.

5)Apply another layer of moisturizer all over your face.

    NOTE:

If you are in your first applications use 0.025% dosage, do not leave it overnight. About 4 hours is enough to start. At the beginning, apply it 1 time the first week. If your skin responds well, you can increase it to twice a week, and keep it there if your skin tolerates it.

It is important that you keep in mind that if you see good results, DO NOT INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF PRODUCT, OR APPLY IT MORE OFTEN.

If your skin responds well and you like the results after a few weeks, you can increase the dose to 0.05%. But without increasing the amount of product you apply to your face. If you increase the dose you must start the progressive scheme again, that is, start by applying it once a week and then increase it to tolerance.

    What you should not do.

You should not wear the sun with the product applied. This modifies the structure of the component and activates reactions in the retinoid that can stain the skin or burn it.

Do not mix with other exfoliants or acne products such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, as well as retinol, niacinamide or glycolic acid. That is, at the time of application, do not use serums, soaps or tonics that contain them.

When starting out, do not use more than once a week.

Do not start with a dose greater than 0.025%.

Soon I will be uploading a Vlog demonstrating how to apply the product in detail.

Thanks for reading, see you in the next post!
