We are already halfway through the year, and I cannot deny that despite the heat of the season, I love this time of year, perhaps because I also celebrate my birthday around these dates.
During these days, the evenings in my city begin to redden. The sky takes on shades of color ranging from pink to red, and I, who have been a fan of appreciating sunsets since childhood, find this a time to delight in.
Also, during this season, it is very common to find some of the hundreds of varieties of orchids in my country in bloom.
The one I photographed is very special, as it belongs to a relative, and I can see how it blooms year after year, filling everything around it with magic and its imposing beauty.
So these days are a bit rosy for me, which is why I take advantage of them by walking in the evenings while I can, and that's the reason for this post.
The last photo is of my two little treasures with my brother in downtown Caracas, also bathed in that rosy evening hue.

Orquídeas y tardes rosas
Estamos ya a mitad de año y no puedo negar que a pesar del calor de la época, me encanta esta temporada, quizás porque también cumplo años por estas fechas.
Por estos días, las tardes en mi ciudad empiezan a enrojecer. El cielo va tomando unas gamas de colores que van del rosa al rojo, y yo, que desde niño soy un fanático de la apreciación de ocasos, es una época para deleitarme.
También, por esta temporada, es muy común conseguir en flor algunas de las cientos de variedades de orquídeas en mi país.
Esta que fotografié es muy especial, ya que es de un familiar y puedo ver cómo florece año tras año, llenando de magia todo a su alrededor con su imponente belleza.
Así que estos días son un poco color de rosa para mí, por lo que aprovecho para disfrutarlos caminando por las tardes mientras puedo, y por ahí va el motivo de esta publicación.
La última foto es de mis dos pequeños tesoros con mi hermano por el centro de Caracas, también bañado de ese tono rosa vespertino.
