Contemporary cities are generally exposed to a wide variety of street art interventions, and Bogotá is no exception.
During my stay in the Colombian capital, I have made a selection of some graffiti and paintings that I was able to record on some of the streets I walked through.
I make an exception for the extensive record of murals that I made at the National University of Bogotá, which were already shared in a previous publication.
Something that particularly caught my attention was the presence of graffiti and paintings with an anarchist ideology. Considering the great influence of the Church in this country and the prolonged political conflict it has faced, where anarchism has not had a significant space amidst the different leftist groups, it is interesting to find these artistic manifestations on the streets.
The truth is that I am unaware of the magnitude of the anarchist movement or militancy in Bogotá, but what I can affirm is that on the streets there is a good presence of these messages, even on the facades of some churches.
In this selection, I also tried to include some political graffiti, not necessarily of anarchist ideology, but with a libertarian character, such as the mural in support of the legalization of marijuana in Colombia.
I was also struck by those artistic interventions in which murals and even statues were used to divert attention and draw attention to a particular message.
I acknowledge that it was not an in-depth selection, as I was only able to include some examples that I managed to capture during the free time that the intense work dynamic allowed me.
However, this small sample allowed me to appreciate the diversity and strength of the messages conveyed through street art in Bogotá, thus reflecting the concerns and voices of different sectors of society.

Arte Callejero y anarquista en Bogotá
Las urbes contemporáneas, por lo general, están expuestas a una amplia variedad de intervenciones artísticas callejeras, y Bogotá no es la excepción.
Durante mi estancia en la capital colombiana, he realizado una selección de algunas pintas y grafitis que pude registrar en algunas de las calles que recorrí.
Hago la excepción del amplio registro de murales que realicé en la Universidad Nacional de Bogotá, los cuales ya fueron compartidos en una publicación anterior.
Algo que llamó particularmente mi atención fue la presencia de grafitis y pintas con ideología anarquista. Considerando la gran influencia de la Iglesia en este país y el prolongado conflicto político que ha enfrentado, donde el anarquismo no ha tenido un espacio significativo en el lugar que ocupan los distintos grupos de izquierda, entoces resulta interesante encontrar estas manifestaciones artísticas en las calles.
La verdad es que desconozco la magnitud del movimiento o militancia anarquista en Bogotá, pero lo que sí puedo afirmar es que en las calles se nota una buena presencia de estos mensajes, incluso en las fachadas de algunas iglesias.
En esta selección, también traté de incluir algunos grafitis políticos, no necesariamente de ideología anarquista, pero sí con un carácter libertario, como es el caso del mural en apoyo a la legalización de la marihuana en Colombia.
También me llamó la atención aquellas intervenciones artísticas en las que se utilizaron murales, incluso estatuas, para virar y hacer llamar la atención sobre un mensaje en particular.
Reconozco que no fue una selección profunda, ya que solo pude incluir algunos ejemplos que logré capturar entre los ratos libres que me dejó la intensa dinámica laboral.
Sin embargo, esta pequeña muestra me permitió apreciar la diversidad y la fuerza de los mensajes transmitidos a través del arte callejero en Bogotá, reflejando así las inquietudes y las voces de diferentes sectores de la sociedad.
