Gathering with family is sometimes too hard to do, many things that happen may be due to conflicts, inconsistencies, having problems, and even not having time to meet because of the busyness of each family member.
If we look at this era, family gatherings will be very difficult because they don't have the right time because everyone is busy with work so usually family gatherings can be done on big days or if there is a wedding celebration.
It's been a year since our family, especially my husband's, came together because of a death celebration. Many family members died in 2021, ranging from the young to the elderly. We gathered with very painful hearts.
A week ago, my family and I commemorated the 1 year anniversary of the death of my husband's aunt, right on February 4, before my husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. Then after the death celebration, the next day me, my husband and mother-in-law were invited to have lunch, we were invited by my husband's uncle to eat at a different and new restaurant in the town of Rantau Prapat.
At first we didn't know we were going to be invited to lunch at the restaurant, my husband's uncle at first said he wanted to be delivered to a friend's house, but suddenly we arrived at the restaurant. So my husband's uncle often invites my mother-in-law to eat, but my mother-in-law always refuses. Uncle said, this was done so that the mother would accept the invitation to lunch.
We were invited to a restaurant near my uncle's house, he said this restaurant belonged to a member of the government council. This restaurant was originally used as a restaurant for relatives only, but it turns out that enthusiasm for this restaurant is growing, and the owner of the restaurant makes it wider and more attractive.
Choose the menus
The menu at this restaurant is very varied with prices that are quite cheap for a restaurant that has a beautiful view. I ordered a beef burger and a cup of marqisa juice. I chose the beef burger because I wasn't feeling well, because before I ate too much curried goat, so I just ordered the beef berger. For marqisa juice, I really like the juice combined with a little sugar and lots of ice. Add freshness to this hot day.
My husband chose the fried rice menu with an egg omelette. He chose the menu because it was the safest menu to try in a restaurant he had never visited before. And also choose to order a drink of sweet iced tea.
Meanwhile, my mother-in-law chose to order vegetable capcai and warm sweet tea. Mother said the capcai was fresh and tasty. Especially if eaten with rice.
Restaurant atmospher
There are several places to eat where we can choose, there is a special one above a small lake, there are many curtains and the place is made of wood that is carved very beautifully. There is a pedestrian bridge to get to the table, on the bridge it is clear that we can take pictures because the scenery is very beautiful. Here I took a photo of my mother-in-law wearing sunglasses. Said he wanted her to post on his social media.
Then there are places to hang out with friends or even do homework. There are tables and chairs that are neatly arranged and very much. Uncle said, usually this restaurant will be very crowded at night. Hence, many chairs and dining tables are lined up.
We chose one of the best places in this restaurant. There are only 2 tables available due to limited space. This place is on the edge of a fish pond, then made of a sturdy wooden structure, and uses a wooden table and bean bags. The place we chose was very comfortable for children, because we brought 3 children who were toddlers and attractive.
While having lunch, we could see the fish in the pond, enjoy the breeze, and smell the fresh air produced by the many trees around our table. We sat relaxed and lay down while waiting for the waiters to come to offer food.
By the way, this restaurant also has a swimming pool! However, the swimming pool can only be used by children, and is limited to the public. But I can still take photos of the swimming pool because the location of the pool will be passed if I want to go to the toilet, and I don't want to miss taking photos of the pool.
