The UK Border Patrol at Luton Airport has been doing spot checks on those leaving the country and what has become clearly obvious is any of them are asylum seekers returning home for the holidays and are openly admitting this. Returning to a country for a holiday when it was apparently too dangerous and the reason for applying for asylum in the first place.
How can one be going "home" for a holiday if it is indeed unsafe and is surely not the case and anyone doing this should be let out and not allowed back in. I am all for helping anyone fearing persecution, but as the English would say "this is taking the piss". What we are seeing is fraud and negligence on the governments part. What a perfect opportunity to cut off he fraudsters letting them pay for the flight and then barring the on re entry. The tax payers have paid for their holiday and yet there is no money for the pensioners winter fuel allowance.
I blame both governments being Tories and Labor for their mishandling of this or should I say not handling this. The Border Patrol have said this has been going on for years and is not a new development.
According to the stats 1.16 million people were seeking asylum across the EU in 2024. Don't be confused as this does not include the illegals who have been swarming into Europe and the UK by the boat load. Asylum seekers are those that come via the legal way bringing with them documentation like passports.
The crazy thing is and this is where the taking the piss part becomes very relevant is asylum seekers are not allowed to work whilst seeking asylum. They are using the benefits they have been receiving to go and take a holiday or have been working illegally. The UK is surely seen as a soft touch and a gold mine for those seeking to take advantage of the system. This is what happens when there is no leadership aligned with a woke mentality.
I have no words to describe how I feel what is taking place and how my country of birth is changing for the worse in such a short period of time. The UK has changed so much I would not even consider it on the short list as a possible place to live which is seriously sad. The Government over the last 20 years has betrayed their people and there is going to be a heavy price to pay.
Common sense tells us that there needs to be a serious change in the leadership to turn this around and to take back control of the borders. I do believe every country in Europe is on a time line and that time is slowly running out before all hell breaks loose. This as it stands right now will never have a peaceful outcome and for those that believe it will work itself out then they are in for a very nasty shock.
