Hello friends,
A few days ago, Methodist High School held its Graduation Ceremony, a special event celebrating students moving from the primary section to the senior section. It was a memorable day, filled with pride and joy for students, teachers, and parents. One of the key moments of the event was the announcement of the "Ten Ideals", a tradition that honors students who truly reflect the school's values.
A Special Honor for My Daughter
Among these Ten Ideals, my daughter was awarded the "Courtesy" title, recognizing her kind and respectful nature. The school principal presented her with a certificate, a sash, and a cap as a mark of this honor. Watching her receive this award was a truly proud and emotional moment. She was smiling with happiness, and it was clear that she truly deserved this recognition.
Her class teacher also appreciated her for this quality, mentioning how her politeness, humility, and respectful attitude make a positive impact in the classroom. It was heartwarming to see her efforts being recognized in such a meaningful way.
A Well-Organized Ceremony
The auditorium was filled with excitement as each ideal was announced. Students, teachers, and parents clapped enthusiastically as the deserving students received their awards. The event was well-organized and beautifully conducted, making it a day to remember.
The Ten Ideals of Methodist High School
Methodist High School believes in shaping students with strong values. The Ten Ideals represent the core principles every student should strive to follow:
1- Honesty – A true jewel in the crown
2- Obedience – Be ruled before you rule
3- Courtesy – Soft and polite in attitude
4- Perseverance – Endure and persist
5- Dependability – Trusted and entrusted
6- Purity – The whiteness of the soul
7- Service – A self-sacrifice for others
8- Health – A sound mind and body
9- Self-control – An exercise in self-restraint
10- Scholarship – Investment in knowledge
Seeing my daughter being chosen as the symbol of Courtesy reaffirmed my belief that she truly lives by this value every day.
A Moment to Remember
This was more than just an award—it was a reminder that success is not just about academics but also about character and values. I am incredibly proud of my daughter, and I hope she continues to carry this virtue with her throughout her life.
This Graduation Ceremony will always be a cherished memory, celebrating not just achievements but the values that make us better human beings.
