After having my morning drills in the field, I returned home to freshen up. Entering the house, I met the children happy and lousy as they prepare for school.
I need a place to rest my head and grab the thoughts running through my mind. It is morning thought and I need to grab it, hold it, and make something out of it.
This morning, it is too early for the noise and I wonder what their mum was cooking that activates their excitement.
Well, it is all good for the morning. At least, the bathing fights and school preparation crises are not for today.
I am happy for them.
I step out of the house and step into my brother's car to have a quiet moment and get some reflection.
Boom!
The beautiful moment I had some years ago in Enugu State, the coal city of the nation grace my mind and the experience started replaying itself.
It was awesome, as I reminisce, the experience I had through the journey and the lessons I learned while in the coal city.
Enugu state and its tradition are similar to the tradition of Ebonyi State, the salt of the nation where I come from.
Yes, we share boundaries but our ascents differ even though we share the same language and have the same culture we have different names for the same items.
Groundnuts have a different name between the two states.
Same tribe, same zone, and the same tradition.
I have no option but to appreciate the diversity among us even within the same tribe.
Awesome!
God is wonderful in his creation and nature is beautiful.
I love the people of Enugu and their special kind of hospitality.
Always willing to help, resourceful, and accommodative.
I am just thinking of having another holiday there.
I hope I am welcome.
