Want to be famous while making kids happy? Be a cotton candy creator. ~ @iamjadeline 😍
We were having dinner at 'I love Yoo' at KL East Mall and right beside us, the crowd was building up to the max. It was a new shop opened that time selling colourful cotton candy and even with shapes of cute cartoon character.
I was not keen at all initially because I had told myself that my boys had enough sugary stuff. These were 100% sugar and colour-loaded somemore which I usually did not like those coloring.
The stall sells different type of cotton candy. Those from the bucket, pre-made beforehand. And also those made on the spot whereby you could choose the character shapes you want. These are not cheap at all.
But to my surprise, there were so many people coming. And the crowd started to build up. A lot parents wanted to buy for their kids. Some voluntarily. Some were being persuaded to buy and the parents gave in. Most of them bought the cute characters one for their kids.
I stood and watched the process. It was a fun process. I almost felt like I wanted to work there too. Haha. I loved the process of making the cotton candy since young. I, too, was a lover of cotton candy. Guilty as charge.
He was in the process of making a duck-shaped cotton candy, ordered by a little girl.
See how happy she was. She was actually leaping while holding it and the parents got to tell her not to leap or else the duck quacked away. Quack quack!
The man-in-charge really enjoyed what he was doing. I guessed when he saw joy in the eyes of children, he felt equally joyful. He also did bear character, the rainbow character and a bunny one.
When the crowd started to dismiss, I went nearer to have a look. The heart felt 'itchy' and I gave in when Jansen asked for it. Honestly, the boys had not tried before and I thought to give them a memory of eating cotton candy. I bought the normal shape one.
Stepped nearer to see the man in action and saw all these array of coloured sugar. I tried to ignore my dislikes towards the coloring. Lol.
We literally enjoyed watching him made our cotton candy and totally forgot to take pictures of ours. But see the final product.
They shared together and I got to taste too. It was wayyyy too sweet for us, we could only eat half of it. So, this was more for memory sake instead of enjoying the cotton candy.
It was a great time nonetheless.
Then, they had some time on the mobile machine which was just beside the cotton candy shop. The eldest son said better to quickly sit on it before he outgrew the machines. Haha.
