Coping with relationships.

Holla guys. Good evening and welcome to my blog. Today I'll be writing on coping with relationships. I must say it's a hard one. I've had ups and downs, I always question myself about my actions in every relationship especially w nohen there's va quarrell or misunderstanding. I just had to take my time. Read books, listened to relationship messages, and I'll say I've equipped myself on how to build a relationship.

And today I will share with you guys what I have learned so far. Its been a difficult journey but trust me it's worth it. The very first thing I learnt was to communicate openly. Communication is key, not like I didn't know but I took it lightly. I also believe that in a relationship we should allow each other the platform to express ourselves. Being honest and very open about anything and everything. Communication entails a lot, from being able to listen to each other, expressing your thoughts clearly without holding back and then just agree to each other perspectives knowing fully well that you guys are from different backgrounds raised differently. This really helped me.

Another thing I learnt is that if you want to cope in a relationship and being able to manage it well you have to understand, I repeat understand each other's feelings. Try to put yourselves in each other shoes. This particular step can help you get so supportive.

Skipping this very one made me to run and out of a lot of friendships and relationships. I didn't know how to set and even maintain boundaries. Prople took advantage of me and this really broke me. It helps is yo e able to keep a stable balance between our personal stuffs and the way we interact with others.

Guys another thing you have to do is to take care of yourself. Stop that thing of putting people first, take time and enjoy yourself,do things that bring you joy and make you happy. Doing this had really brought a balance. Also know that nobody is perfect. Everyone gots their lapses. Try and understand that.

Thank you for stopping by.
Best wishes ❤️
