I took a leave from work today since i still have a few leave credits to be consumed before the year ends. I don't have plans to go on a long vacation or travel out of town so might as well take at least two days leave per month. Today, I went to SM City Cebu just to walk around and window shop, perhaps. But first, I had my brunch at Orange Brutus, In my previous blog, i mentioned that my favorite burger steak is from this restaurant (see:Kenny Rogers blog).
The burger steak is plated in a hot sizzling plate to maintain it's warmth even if the food hasn't been eaten for hours. This Cebu based restaurant was one of my go to meals in college and travelers from outside Cebu consider this restaurant as a must-try. Unfortunately, for the reason that i dont know, most of their branch are gradually closing. The only branch that still serves customers are in SM City Cebu and I.T Park. There may still be other branches but these two are the only ones I go to.
While walking inside the malls, as i was trying to complete my 10,000 steps for the day, I saw these cute costumed teddy bears in the ground floor. It's for a monthly sale event for cyber items.
I wanted to take a photo beside them but due to the large crowd, its best to just take a photo of the view. Plus, i went there alone so i'd have to ask a stranger to take a photo of me.
After passing by the bears, i continued my walk and went home. Simple moments like these helps me recharge and get back to work with full of energy.
