A few years ago, the internet was just a place for people to hang out with friends and strangers alike, read funny comments, post dolled up pictures and wait for people's reactions to those pictures. I can still recall when my secondary school classmates will ask stuff like;
Did you see the picture I posted on Facebook? Please like the picture.
Haha. Interesting, right? It's really interesting to see how things have been changing since then. We got to a stage where comedy skits became the trend. Content Creators have eyes for opportunities so, a lot of people started creating such skits.
We netizens can't complain, right? We also didn't mind burning our internet subscription on those comedy skits. You could see people being part of the joke and laughing their heads off. That is how the progression continued till we reached this stage. A stage where you and I can have control of our content and also earn from it.
This is the modern world we are enjoying due to the internet and netizens are ready to capitalize on it and make the best of this opportunity.
Take content creation in a Blockchain setting for an example;
Do you know the number of people that are publishing posts in this place? What about the number of new accounts that are created daily? Do you have an idea of how hard these lads and ladies have to work to learn the nitty-gritty of surviving and subsequently excelling in a blockchain setting?
I believe we have professional writers on the chain. We have people who have written e-books and we have people that would likely go punch for punch with Shakespeare when it comes to their diction. On the other hand, we have people who are still struggling with sentence construction. There are people on the chain who can't write decent content to save their life, yet they are still here and (hopefully) trying to learn and improve their writing skills.
To make this more simplified, let's just say that we have pros and novices on the blockchain. Let's assume that each of these people are trying to do their best, do you think it's wise for any of them to be subjected to hate or undue criticism?
If you are being smeary or judgemental or anything aside from simply appreciating the brilliance of EVERY genuine content creator on this Blockchain, you do not get it.
Being genuine and eager to learn sums up every quality I want in a content Creator on the blockchain. Trust me, it's not hard to see when someone is ready to learn the ropes. You can sniff such people out from a mile away. The way they ask questions, the way they react to corrections and the way they apply what they learn in their activities on the blockchain will surely speak for themselves.
We all have to face the fact. That fact is that we are in the danger of losing talented writers whenever we attack their shortcomings instead of offering a guideline and giving them corrections.
Remember, we have all the nuts and bolts needed to polish our post

You've got to habitually proofread your stuff before publishing it. It takes a few sec to do this, but failure to do it can turn your post to a disjointed mess.
What else? I don't even know it all and I've been writing for almost 2 years.
My point is that every journey has a starting point and a destination. If you want to excel as a writer and post stuff you will be proud of, you've got to make effort to learn the basics and nurture your skill. A new lad can learn from those that have been doing this for a longer duration.
Just ask questions. When people give you suggestions, you also need to take note of it and apply it. If you can do this, I genuinely believe that greatness will be on your horizon.
What of those that are not ready to learn?
Haha... There are people like that. Those that are not ready to learn the most basic things are just delaying the inevitable. You know, back in school days, there is always that kid whose hobby is to be told the same thing 2,3,4... infinity times. Haha.
Since I'm not a shaman, I don't know what will become of those people in the future.
