Let me tell you a little about Kaduna State

Kaduna State is the north central state capital, which was created from the northern region, during the military era of General Murtala Mohammed, in 1976. And this state is blessed with many mineral resources. And this state is connected to many several states in Nigeria. Kaduna State is very close to the federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, which is Abuja. About 1 hour 45 minutes drive.

Kaduna State is well know as The center for excellent, this where the most popular schools are. Which is

  1. Air Force Institute of Technology Kaduna (AFIT)
  2. Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA),
  3. Ahmadu Bello University (ABU),
  4. Nigerian College of Aviation (NCAT) and so on.
This actually where I did my university schooling. I schooled at the great institution. Air Force Institute of Technology Kaduna. Well guys that's another storyline to be told another day.

I bet you don't know what this is, but don't worry I'll tell you all about.
This is called "farar fata" in Hausa,
In English is called "Grasshopper ".
Over here in Kaduna, this their best food, and they don't joke with it.
As for me I like testing new things, like trying different types of culture and also partake in it.
Yes I have tested it, and believe me when I say it is very tasty sweet and delicious.

Grasshoppers are insects, popular snack called "Fara" in Hausa language a good spicy too. in this part of Nigeria.
Fara can also snacks, can be eating with Suya. Not everybody like fara for it delicacy actually, it's classify as local food or snack for some people.
Guys to be honest, you need to test this local food, If you have not tasted hoppers before, you’re really missing a lot. This the time to do so. You have to try new things guys.
