This is a random sketch of a bird I came across and I found it interesting to draw. I looks like a medium size blue bird. It is probably wauting for its partner to show up.
The sketch was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. Diagonal strokes were used mostly to add shades and build my forms but the tree was done with scribbles. The bird can be seen perching on a dead tree. Below are my steps:
