My name is ogungbade mercy and I am exited to finally be joining this amazing community and Hive. As a student, blogger, and freelance writer, I am always looking for new ways to express myself, connect with like-minded individuals, and share my passions with others.
A bit about me: I am a proud single lady, beautiful, elegant with at least enough composure needed. I love to read, partying and clubbing,very lazy when it's comes to exercise, singing is what I love most.I love food a lot, especially when it's come to fried rice and salad I can't resist it,most of my friends call me foodie.
I'm also a bit of a foodie,to be realistic apart from what my friend says, and I love trying out new recipes in the kitchen. There's something therapeutic about cooking, don't youthink?The measuring, the mixing, the waiting... it's almost meditative.

As a student, I am currently an ND holder in public administration,and looking forward to getting a degree in linguistics and languages,I am passionate about learning and self-improvement, and I believe that education is key to unlocking our full potentials.
In addition to being a student, I also work as an hairstylist and freelance writer . I love writing about a wide range of topics, including lifestyle, relationships,time- travelling, and personal growth. There's something about putting my thoughts and feelings into words that really resonates with me,I can also say I write scripts for actors.
When I'm not studying or writing, you can find me reading a good book, trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, or singing and dancing and I'm also a bit of a movie buff, and I love watching classic films or the latest releases,specialize in American and Korean movies.
As a freelance writer, I've had the opportunity to work with various clients and write about a range of topics. From lifestyle and wellness to technology and entrepreneurship,also a short script for a content creator,I've enjoyed exploring different subjects and sharing my insights with others.
One of the things I love most about writing is the ability to connect with others through my words. Whether it's sharing a personal experience, offering advice, or simply entertaining, I believe that writing has the power to inspire, educate, and uplift.
In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga and meditation. These practices have helped me cultivate a sense of calm and clarity, even in the midst of chaos. I've also found that they've improved my focus and productivity, allowing me to go up against challenges with greater ease
My mom and I are also readers and learners.We love exploring new topics and learn grammatical words to grow in speaking more confidently when it's come to English language and yoruba,doing the ayanogbufo with is the most fun part,we laugh and learn at thesame time . There's something about experiencing the unknown that's so exhilarating, don't you think?
What about you? Do you think it's only English language you want to learn,what about your own local language,am using these blissful opportunity to say, Nigeria culture is the best,so am urging us to always try our possible best to lift our culture,I mean have you seen the young yoruba women in the yoruba attire, it's always looks beautiful on us,while still on that,I will say these "friends if we sell our culture cheap today,trust me by tomorrow you won't be able to buy it with a golden price"
