Its always a fun time when there are so many spectacular colors in the sky. The really colorful skies tend to occur more often in the fall as the leaves start to turn and fall from the trees. This is a view from my balcony; the orange-red glow just dominated the sky. When I expose for colors like this, I will use my camera's light meter to gauge the brightest colors so that when I change my settings, it is those colors that tend to stand out more.
