The Bible says He will make ALL Grace abound to us which means there is Grace for every aspect of life and that's why this topic will speak of Grace for financial abundance. Spirituality doesn't translate to financial abundance. That you are a child of God doesn't translate to wealth. Nigeria is one of the most prayerful countries in the world yet that's where poverty is also prevalent. The most blessed country in the world is an Islamic country. Wealth answers to principles and not to your level of prayer or spirituality.
You don't need to be a born again to be able to learn how to save. Even when an unbeliever saves and a believer won't save, that believer would beg and the unbeliever won't, even though Jesus is in your heart, you will still suffer economically. Your finance must be planned for it to be sustainable. If every day you have to be calling God for provisions it shows you are not smart. If you don't create a system that provides your daily bread, you will still beg.
Principles don't respect positions or titles. What people are doing that brings wealth, it shouldn't be a problem to be followed by believers too. A lot of believers are suffering financially because they would rather pray than act or plan.
The Bible made us understand that God loves a person who gives cheerfully. God is first interested in the heart of the giver before his gifts. Your heart comes before your gifts. When your heart is wrong, your gifts won't be acceptable. I am sure we are familiar with the story of Cain and Abel. Humans look at the outward appearances but God searches the heart.
It is only a privilege to give because we are giving out of the abundance that God gave us. The Bible told us "What do you have that you have not received? If you have received it why do you boast as though you didn't?" This explains why many gave in time past but never saw abundance because they gave in response to pressure, not cheerfully and sometimes for recognition. No one can deceive God...He made you and He knows every intention.
The Bible says seed time and harvest... There is time attached to seed and not to harvest. A lot of people are frustrated because they put time on what they want to get from God. God determines the harvest... When your harvest delays, it's because your order is huge and it might take time. You can't compare someone who placed an order for a drink to someone with a proper meal...the processing time is different. Once a farmer misses the seed time, that farmer would beg during harvest. It's just a natural order of things. Even if they don't beg they can't have as much as the person who sowed. The Bible also told us that "... Isaac sowed in the land and he reaped a hundred fold..." just imagine if he didn't plant or sow, what can be multiplied unto him?
We depend so much on God working magic for us rather than doing our path. God is still a God of order and yes He bypass certain protocols to show us that He can do anything but you have a part to play at least. Imagine working in Bank ABC and how do you expect a salary from Bank XYZ? If you pray from now till tomorrow, you can't receive a salary from a place you are not working. It's just a natural order of things.
Tomorrow I would be sharing some principles that believers can follow...
Thank you for your time.
