Shine like the diyas and let the negativity fall away.

In our culture, litting diyas holds a great significance to the ocassion. Diyas are lit during auspicious occasions in Hindu culture because the light they emit symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and the removal of darkness. The act of lighting a diya signifies driving away darkness and bringing in light, which is interpreted as the victory of good over evil. As I was attending my cousin marriage I found a diya lit up in the open as a rituals.

The act of lighting a diya is considered to bring purity and positive energy to the space where it is placed. The flame of a diya is considered a medium to connect with the divine essentially bringing positivity, prosperity, and divine blessings to the occasion; it's a way to welcome positive energy and ward off negativity, with the flame representing enlightenment and purity.

Such lamp's light often reflects the idea of guidance, hope, and the ability to navigate through darkness in life. This is what I assumed finding a little diya illuminated at the night as a wedding rituals. When it was covered with a bamboo bucket the colour changes to a more attractive one.

The glow of a lamp can evoke feelings of safety and security, signifying a welcoming and supportive environment. It was covered with a basket just to protect it from blown away.

It was a wonderful to capture the glowing lights.

Learning is Passion!!
