Family Traditions and Family Celebration

Hello and Namaste everyone

Family celebration is always something that I enjoy a lot and there are multiple events in a year when celebration is done together with family. Some festivals in India are best celebrated when enjoyed with family and some festivals like Diwali Holi and many others. Every Diwali I try to visit my parent's house so that I can celebrate the festival with my family and trust me it is always an amazing feeling that I always enjoy when I celebrate with them.

Karwachauth is also one of the festivals celebrated in India that is celebrated together. Trust me this is not fun if not celebrated together. I believe that festivals are an opportunity for us to have a fantastic time with our near and dear ones and this is why celebration becomes even more fun when we celebrate more people.

This is a glimpse of the Karwa Chauth Festival celebration and you can see in the photo that there are so many women in this photo and all of them are my friends neighbours and relatives. It's a day celebration that we do together and trust me it is a fantastic day that we wait for throughout the year. It is celebrated once a year and every year we try to do something new which becomes a memory and we all enjoy it. We do the entire day without even drinking water which I know is not easy but it is so much fun because everyone is doing it and they are doing something or the other to make the day more fun and memorable. We eat food at night and then that food together itself is another fantastic event because our husbands help us eat.

Family tradition is also something that we celebrate a couple of times in India and there are different festivals celebrated throughout the year. I am the kind of person who enjoys a lot with these festivals and this is what gives us another boost and you can see the opportunity to create some more memories. India is a diverse country where we have so much to celebrate and its like every month or the other we get a festival through which we can have the celebration but because people are busy with their work so at least they celebrate a couple of festivals in the year. I also can't celebrate every month because it's not possible to visit the native place but whenever possible then I try to do it.

During the Diwali Festival celebration I most of the time visit my parents' house because with them festival becomes even more fun and sometimes when it is not possible then I try to celebrate at my home which is in the city. But there is always a difference between the celebration I do at home and the one I do with my parents so obviously, the one I celebrate with my parents is the best.

So this is how the festivals are celebrated in India but the theme remains the same that if the celebration is done with the family and relatives then it is more fun however in today's lifestyle sometimes it is not possible. This is my way of celebrating and I always try my best to make it this way if possible sometimes because of my busy schedule that does not happen but it's ok because at least a couple of times a year I do it with my relatives and parents.
