How is your day? May everything doing well and all your activities goes smoothly. This is me @sailawana. I want to share my poetry that I made by my self. Since I was a teenager I have been actively writing poetry for my school wall magazine, I was inspired by the beautiful writings of many poets, one of them was Khalil Gibran. But since I got married, I haven't had the chance to express my inspiration in the form of poetry for a long time. For me, writing poetry is a healing activity that can make my mood better.
When I write a poem, the inspiration usually just flows without planning and I can't stop it. Here is my simple poem, hopefully my steemian friend likes it and can understand the meaning of its.
"SILLY DEBATES DURING THE DAY"
That afternoon I couldn't hold myself back at all,
Since last night my mind has wandered far and wide...
I don't think I'm sane anymore
My logic seems to evaporate
Thousands of questions are scrambling to be answered by you...
But you don't budge
As if I don't know the signal I'm getting to you
Your insensitivity makes me miserable
I tried to search all the questions myself and
I look for the answers but I couldn't find them,
Until..
I also decided to reveal it all in front of you
all ask me
my feeling
I'm so upset
Without a doubt, I'll say it that day
But what's your answer?
Just a long debate that actually happened between us
You're not sensitive anyway
the heat of the sun that afternoon, the more our debates are endless
Did you know? At the same time I want to cry and laugh
And Its just because of you
Well.. I laugh at your attitude
And laugh at my silliness, because no matter how long this debate is
The debate between us is just a joke
You and I
We are just a game..
just a tired soul, and leaning on each other
Like a boat leaning on a pier, it will not stay forever, there comes a time when it will depart again.
Even though I realized that
But my soul and heart are attached to you
However I realized it
The more I can't turn away from you
I don't know where your beauty lies
From my point of view
I don't think there's anything special about you
I myself wonder why I can be lulled by your seduction
Perhaps...
You have bewitched me
With your love spell...
Is it true??
maybe the unfinished past journey between us,
is now leading us back on the path that is in the same direction but ...
unfortunately without a goal..
And that afternoon our silly debate ended too,
That afternoon our ridiculous debate was unraveled.

And left crying and laughing at the same time,
only you can do those 2 things to me at once..
near you I can cry and laugh at the same time.
weird isn't it??
and only you can do it
My smile is blooming again
Because of you
Yes You are...
Hope you keep your promise Because, do you know that I only need the comfort and peace that you present to me,
you are always there for me when I'm sad,
you comfort me when I'm blue
that all is enough for me,
All I ask of you
There's nothing else
Always stay that way
