Inside the Uffizi Gallery in Florence! ❤️❤️❤️

Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all!
Maybe some of you remember I live in a small city close to Florence and I can be there in just 40 minutes by train. I know I'm lucky to live not so far from one of the most admired city of my country and since I was a young girl I use to go there to visit the museums, for shopping time or just to walk along those beautiful historical streets. When I was a student to the University I used to go there almost every day and so I can say I really know Florence in every positive and negative aspects (just to know, I think Florence is a very beautiful city to visit, but it's better to live out of there cause the prices and the chaos 😊 ).
Yesterday me and my hubby @paolobeneforti decided to go there to visit again the Uffizi gallery and so I took some pics to share with you.

At first, you have to know the Uffizi Gallery is inside a wonderful ancient building (around 1560) designed by Giorgio Vasari. The collections of paintings is one of the most famous in the world and maybe you know the collections ( paintings from the 1300 and Renaissance) include some great masterpieces by Botticelli, Mantegna, Leonardo, Raffaello, Michelangelo and, my favorite one: Caravaggio. There are also other wonderful masterpieces by other European painters .❤️

A lot of wonderful selfportraits by ancient painters:

Just to know, there are a lot of people in front of the masterpieces and so it was not simple to take pics of them , but I did my best!
In the following pic, one of the masterpieces by Caravaggio, "La Medusa":

The portrait of a young boy by Perugino (1425):

A wonderful piece by Leonardo Da Vinci:

I'd like to take a nice pic of the Spring (the Primavera) by Botticelli, but as you can see it was almost impossible because the many people in front of this masterpiece, but believe me: to watch it in real is really a touching experience!.

I enjoy this virtual gallery visit. :)
Thank you for sharing with us, and have a great day for you and your husband.
