Painting my (fat) birds on tiny plates. ^_^

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend. Here it was a rainy time and I spent the Sunday at home, cleaning the house and watching some episodes of an old series on my tv. Today finally there is the Sun over my city and it's a warm Monday, so I can work on my artworks under the natural light and this is great for me! ^_^

Today I woke up soon in the morning and, after a fast breakfast and a good coffee (for me a good coffee is the best way to start my day ^_^ ), I started to work with my colors and brushes. I have to finish a couple of new paintings, but in the meantime I want to show you a little things I painted as an exercise:

I found some little pottery plates ready to be decorated and so I decided to try to paint one of my bird there using my oil colors, just to see if it could work in a nice way and now I can say I'm satisfied by the result. ^_^

A details of the plate:

In the following pic you can see the tiny plate while I was painting it on my small working table:

I had so much fun to paint this (fat) bird of mines and it was fast (I painted it in a pause from my usual paintings). I hope you like it.
I have other tiny plates to paint, so stay tuned to see other similar ones in different shades of colors . ^_^

See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
