Today, 31st of March 2022, my Twin brother and I are celebrating our birthday. Yeah, it's our birthday. It has been by God's faithfulness, mercy and Grace. God has been so good to us. Let me tell you that in Yoruba ethnic group, Nigeria, Twins are called Taiwo and Kehinde. The first born Twin is Taiwo and the second born Twin is Kehinde. This has nothing to do with gender, meaning Taiwo could be male or female and the same for Kehinde.
We have been through up and downs, tough times and challenging moments when it seems all hopes were gone, but God has always been there for us. You see, if I begin to share many testimonies, this space can't contain it. God had been so faithful to us. My brother, Kehinde has been one of the best gifts to me. He has been so supportive and encouraging. You may not understand what I'm talking about if you are not Twins.... But those who have supportive brothers can relate.
I remember some years back, when I had an accident, it was just God that saved my life. And today my brother and I can celebrate together.
If we all think deeply, we will see the reason we should be thankful. It's not be our capacity, nor by strength, only by grace. Grace has kept us this far.
I will like everybody to join us and celebrate us. The journey has not be easy, honestly, it has been by grace and only grace. Sometimes we don't think deeply. If we can only think, we will know that we have have received mercy and favor of the Lord. I implore you to also think about your journey so far, recollect about how you have used your life. We all need to reflect on our lives.
