Good morning fellow hivers, welcome to my blog. Today I carried out my cleaning activity within my community. The place was littered with different forms of waste, such as plastics, polythene, paper, wraps of biscuits and sweets etc.
Hands that are contaminated can spread from one person to another. Washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water will help prevent the formation of germs (such as viruses and bacteria) that cause these illnesses.
We need to wash our hands when we :
*wash your hands after cleaning the surroundings.
*wash your hands after using the toilet.
*wash your hands after changing nappies.
*wash your hands before, during and after preparing food.
*wash your hands between handling raw and cooked or ready-to-eat food.
*wash your hands before eating.
*wash your hands after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
*wash your hands after using a tissue or handkerchief.
*wash your hands before and after attending to sick children or other family members.
*wash your hands after handling rubbish or working in the garden.
*wash your hands after handling animals.
*wash your hands when you get home, arrive at other people’s homes, at venues or work.
Hand washing looks simple but it goes a long way to affect the overall health of an individual.
