Happy Sunday everyone, welcome to my blog. I hope we all had a wonderful day today . It was a great day for me. I had the opportunity to visit family and friends, especially my best friend Tunde. It's been a long time since we met but the way we met today was divine. It was as if we were playing roles in a movie scene.
We hugged each other and went on to celebrate our reunion in his rented apartment , as soon as we got to their building, since it's a student area.The students had littered the environment with different wastes such as polythene, wraps of biscuits, wraps of sweets, papers, sachet of water, plastic bottles etc.
I requested for a clear garbage bag and packed the wastes into them.The environment became clean and habitable to live in.
Environment is no one’s property to destroy; it’s everyone’s responsibility to protect.
As people alive today, we must consider future generations: a clean environment is a human right like any other. It is therefore part of our responsibility toward others to ensure that the world we pass on is as healthy, if not healthier, than we found it. - Dalai Lama
