You might wonder why i called today another disheartening day right? Let me share with you. Yesterday, my daughter came back from school with a notification letter that indicates all parents attention is needed in the school today by 2:30 pm. I actually went as usual though am not that strong. Most of the things discussed was about the grooming of the pupils, hairstyles and late coming. Since this term, my daughter wasn't serious about going to school early as she normally does. When i ask, she said, i quote!
Even though i go to school late, no one will flog me
I was surprised because it not what we known the school for. I thought it might be because the proprietor is late. He died last year October. Most of the parents said reasons why their pupils came to school late and after deliberating on it, the school agreed to extend a mandatory time for the pupils which was 8:30Am. Any child that comes to school when the time has elapsed will be sent home.
What actually disheartening me was when we where informed that we will be paying a last respect to our late proprietor on March 7th, 2025. Oh my goodness 😭😔, I can't believe Mr Daniel Udo is dead. Remembering his painful death really pierced my heart. He suffered without enjoying the fruit of his labor. Infact, he should be buried so that we the parents of his school can gradually forget about him. My joy is that he left a legacy though he survived by only his wife and family members, but his school which is still running smoothly keeps his legacy alive. After the P.T.A meeting, i carried out my cleaning actions in one of the streets. Check out those pictures by yourself.
