It's first day of the month of December and am happy to be among the living. Because of the Joy in my heart, i decided to start the cleaning post before preparing for the Christian meetings. While everywhere is quite, i moved under the morning sun to carry out my cleaning exercises. I went to a stree known as Ifa Ikot Okpun. I noticed that most of the people has gone to church. And many places of worship in the streets where all filled up with people. So i concentrated on picking nylons and other plastics. After that, i returned home to deposit it on my dustbin.
Later studied the Bible with my daughter and my neighbors son. We discussed a topic concerning John the Baptist. He prepared a way for the The Christ or Messiah. When he came down on earth, he went to John for Baptism. John refused telling him to baptize him instead. But Jesus told him it was an instructions from above and John stopped resisting him rather he got him baptized. It was actually a lesson of humility for us. Though Jesus is greater than Jesus but he humbly accepted to be baptized by him. And John on his own part thought us the importance of obedience.
Lastly this evening, i attended my Christian meetings. Learning why we should be prepared to endure to the end in other to gain everlasting life.
