After several busy days, I am eventually back home, and it feels good. The event I have been talking about for so long has come to an end, and I am really glad I shared it. I gained a lot of knowledge and made some new friends who came like family. Saying farewell was tough, but the happy part is that we’ll reunite in January. Until then, I’ll hold onto those amazing recollections.
Today, I did my CleanPlanet activity while running many errands. I had to pick up my father's shoes from a clobber's shop, and on my way, I decided to buy a new pair of earphones since my old ones went missing. Of course, I eventually found my old earphones after getting the new ones, so I gave the previous earphones to my sister — she was happy! Later, I went to get a few stuff from the market. On my way back, I noticed the road was littered with dirt and snack wrappers. It looked messy, and I knew I couldn’t leave it like that. So, I quickly dropped off my shopping bags at home, seized my waste bag, and went back out to start picking up the waste. Piece by piece, I picked up every wrapper, plastic, and piece of trash I could find. It was a bit tiring, but knowing I was helping to keep my Environment clean made it worthwhile.
As usual, I felt that sense of satisfaction after finishing up. Cleaning my environment has become such a routine for me now that I can’t ignore to waste indeed if I try. I’m glad to be able to do my part, no matter how small, in keeping my community clean. And thanks to @cleanplanet for providing this initiative for us to share our Cleaning Activities.
