This evening, after returning from my place of Worship, I embarked on another Clean Earth exertion. My emulsion, as usual, had its fair share of waste, substantially snack wrappers that had ever scattered around.
I’d swept the area before, but it seems like some trash just has a mind of its own! There’s a commodity satisfying about keeping my environment clean, especially after spending a fulfilling time in deification.
It gives me this peaceful feeling, as though I’m carrying the good energy forward by making the area around me more affable. I’ve come to see this exertion as part of my routine – like an extension of my day, commodity that has to be done to round it off duly. While picking up the wrappers and bits of paper then and there, I couldn’t help but feel thankful for this habit. It has taught me responsibility and that occasionally, it’s the little effects we do constantly that make the biggest impact. Not only does it keep the surroundings neat, but it also inspires others who see me doing this regularly. I’ve noticed smaller wrappers on the ground lately, and I can’t help but suppose that perhaps I’ve encouraged many people to think doubly about littering.
Here are images of how I accomplished today's Task Happily 😀
As I wrapped up the cleaning, I felt proud, knowing that my small trouble contributed to a cleaner, healthier terrain for everyone. It’s amazing how a simple act, done with intention, can change how we view our community. Here is to keeping it clean and inspiring others to do the same. Special thanks and happy Sunday to @cleanplanet.
