The dry season is here, bringing another period of endless coughing and catarrh from inhaling dust. This morning, as I was heading to the grocery store, I noticed that everywhere was dusty. This period is often characterized by a high level of sickness due to the inhalation of toxic particles, and the least people can do to stay safe now is to keep clean, and wear a face mask.
This evening, I went out with my trash bag and bucket, fully aware I would see litter lying around. I wasn’t disappointed. I found some litter in the corners of the streets, which I picked up and put in my bag. I forgot my nose mask at home, which I regretted because I kept sneezing and sneezing.
After picking up some litter, I hung around, waiting for the trash disposal team to arrive with their truck so I could get rid of the trash I had collected. I waited because it was almost time for them to start collecting. After about 40 minutes, they still hadn’t shown up, and I couldn't wait any longer, I was becoming uncomfortable so I headed home to dispose of it in my trash bins. Here are some pictures;
