Hatching Memories: My Hen Farming Journey

in #hive-1502802 months ago

Hello to my #hive family. I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing well. Welcome to another interesting blog. In today's blog, I am going to share my personal experience of hens farming.

Hens farming is a profitable business. In our village, most of the people are affiliated with this business, and they are earning a reasonable amount of money.

I live in a small village in Pakistan. The name of my village is Pai Khel. Here, people live in vast houses of a minimum of one kanal. Most of the people earn their livelihood from agriculture, goat or cow farming, and hen farming. In every house, a minimum of 50/60 hens were kept by the villagers.

We also have 40 hens in our house which are cocks and hens. We brought these special hens and cocks from the Tuesday fair. In our village, every Tuesday, a fair is held by the villagers. I still remember I bought one hen in 600 PKR which is a reasonable price. Now the price of one hen is 1200 PKR. Our hens are almost ready to lay eggs. The price of one egg is 40 PKR here in our village. So if from 30 to 35 hens lay eggs daily, then its cost would be a minimum of 1200 PKR per day. I can earn 36 thousand PKR every month. In this way, the annual income may be above 4 lac PKR and it's a handsome amount.

In the morning we open our hens in the nearby fields. Our hens eat different kinds of insects. We do not eat them with special feed. We provide pieces of bread and flour to them two times a day. Sometimes, we give them wheat grains as feed. So, we try to stick to organic food. We never feed them with artificial food. That's why our hens remain very healthy and active.

There are different kinds of hens in our house. The aseel breed is my favorite one. I like this breed because of its bravery, and it is quite a valuable breed. Here, you can see the pictures of our different breeds.

We keep our hens in a little hut. We built these kinds of little huts in our house. We are getting a good profit Alhamdolillah.

I suggest that my whole family adopt this wonderful profession. You will be astonished to see the results. I hope you will enjoy the post. Thank you so much for stopping. By till the next post.
