Hello Hivers πŸ’˜πŸ’•,

In agricultural mindset we have a lot of weed that are very important to animals most especially. It may not be useful for human being use but when it comes to the feeding of animals such as the ruminant animals and the non-ruminant animals they are absolutely good in feeding them. When I was in the university we did a project on rabbit and guinea pig such that at a point what we fed them was just sunflower leaves. This sunflower leaves are very bitter but extremely nutritious to the animals. Although it's also has more advantages with those to the human body when it is being used as herbs🌿☘️🌿. So it is on this ground that I know what it entails to rear animals. So many people believe that when you keep animals or cultivate crop it just a normal routine for you to plant your seed and it will grow. Categorically I can talk of 3 to 4 different seeds I already planted without me seeing any form of germination at all. This is to show that as a farmer we have a lot to do it just when people see the outcome of what we have done the May talk about it.

Keeping farm animals are more expensive at the moment because of what you give to them to survive. Not just to survive alone but to keep them healthy and nutritious in value. And also to meet Market prices. Keeping of rabbit is not too complex but if you have your own statics to raise them up then you will definitely enjoy farming season. But when you did not have enough finance to fund yourself when it comes to purchasing of agricultural feeds, once in a while multivitamin and many more. It may later come back with negative prices. Rabbit are extremely fragile so you need to keep them and also watch over there regularly.

This type of weed can be given to your animals and it will keep them healthy and also give them necessary nutrient. Just in the case of other green weed as well. When you make advancement in researches you will know more on what to do to make and keep your animals healthy and growing. I took some pictures of the weed while I was with the πŸ‡πŸ°πŸ‡.

I would like to say that first of all when you are into rabbit keeping most especially you need to focus on what you give to them on daily basis. When you are not around you need to put whosoever is watching over them for you into order. Giving your rabbit random food may end up in so many type of diseases which may end up their life. I have also been in this shoe before whereby I made an assignment for a week in another state. On getting there, I made a call through to made sure that everything was in order but along the line the feed got finished and there was nobody to run the errand for me. After few hours the person in charge went into the wood to fetch for weed. Not knowing that a need to search the weed one after the other for insects, dust, termite, caterpillar, egg and so on to remove them before giving to animals. That was how I lost some set of rabbit due to mismanagement of feeds and negligence.

Every time I want to feed the rabbit with weeds, its thoroughly done With thorough supervision. I will have to double check the plant or weed one after the other because the rabbit does not like to consume anything harmful to their health. They are very slow but when it's time for feeding they eat anything they see.

We have hundreds of weed that your animals can feed on. I'm going to show you us as soon as I see them more for my animals. Some weeds are seasonal whereby you can only see them during the rainy season and it will be limit during the dry season.

There is one thing my late dad taught me. He is a farmer too. He said to me, "one man's food can another's be another man's poison". What did he mean by that? He explained and taught me that the weed which other farmers may take as waste can be used as feeds for fame animals, used to make a green manure, mulching and several other farm operations.
As I just read all you have laid down here, I remembered those days with my dad in the farm. You are my model sir and cite your points too.

Absolutely yes. Your late dad was right. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace Amen. That what it entails to be a farmer. Learning from Parents and guidance. It goes a very long way. We are different from each other with different perspective. What other people eat may not be eatable for others in another country or tribe. Definitely Yes. True.
