In agricultural mindset the start to which every plant grow with it on natural attractiveness to pest and diseases must always be checked. When you cultivate your crops you must always be ready to solve so many problems and it is in due time. In due time I mean you must always double check to see that the leaves the stem and also all other parts of the plant is intact. Crops like the eggplant can be monitored even right from a very far distance and this is simply because the plant has different qualities and engagement. Qualities I mean it has a very wide list which you can easily pick point if they are tampered with or not.

For eggplant farmer you need to close monitor the leaves because the pest of different kinds of category always come to the farm to eat the leaves, they come to lay eggs on the leaves as well. When you forgo some kind of personal routine or farmers routine it will start building up some negative effect on your plant and reach it is not too good. I have tried so many planting routine to which the all failed and that is why I personally source for all kinds of means to sort out the challenge. This is always the main reason why sometimes I do not recommend you follow step by step method of any farmer when it comes to agriculture. What can workout for you on your farm maybe much more different from what will workout for me differently. When I checked the leaves of the eggplants one after the other this was the result I got differently. So I took the pictures of the damages that were done to leaves and to the whole plants.

When I got to the farm because as we approach the dry season there are a lot of either positive factors or changes you will see on your farm or otherwise. So it depends on you as individual farmer to tackle the challenge quickly. I saw from a very far distance that they are where a lot of spotted holes on the leaves.

When you forgo the checking of the plant even when you are not constant on the farm it will bring a very devastating moment with you even before they harvesting or they approach of flowering stages. That is why agricultural mindset is not for lazy ones, you must be ready to engage positively.

You noticed that even with different plants growth range they are already affected. Once a particular plant or crop is affected it is very easy for the eggs as shown in the pictures to spread around the farm,and it will cost a lot of damage within a few range of time. I was not happy when I saw this on the farm.

If by chance this kind of spread happens before the flowering or the fruiting stage, it will cost you more few weeks to regain the leaves alone not to talk of the stages back again. That will be on double expenses and double months growth. So the spotted leaves showed that there was a very earlier attack of the Leaves 🐞🐞🪲🪲.

The first thing I did was that I had to sample round the farm to know to what extent the damage was done. And I also captured some few plants. What I also noticed was that whenever this attack is being done there will be a lot of constant irrigation system for it to pick up faster than before.

This Leaf Beetle 🪲🐞🪲 eat up a very good portion of the plant not just the eggplant alone but any other crop and they lay eggs instantly. The eggs will always hatch in a very short period of time. And that is why you must not take any farm for granted. When you are lazy to even check on your crops one after the other you are at high risk.
