Hello β™₯οΈπŸ’˜,

The plantain or banana has the same plant and structure configuration but the only difference is that the banana has more black spotted on the stem or the tree of the banana. Before you can conclude that this plant is either plantain or banana you must ensure that you can really find identify when you move closer to the plant. For those that are really into family business or farming entirely they can really find it even from a very far distance because of this differences between them. I could remember back in the days when my dad planted both the plantain and the banana sucker on the same piece of land but at different side of the agricultural Farmland. This is to really distinguish the differences between them and to ensure that the growth and development of one did not disturb another one.

Although the growth and development of one cannot disturb another but you must also be observant when you are on the farm so that when one specie is not really doing great you can definitely adjust and make the necessary Farm management and adjustment. It is highly necessary because when you notice any changes on your agricultural Farmland you need to get it done fast.

But for some other people it is when the plantain or banana is rightly in it full maturity state and the fruiting is emerged, then they can really say if it is banana or plantain. Because of the seen features. For plantain it is widely planted in the western part of Nigeria because the nature of the song its really good, helpful, nutritious, for agricultural purpose. And to some extent so many people utilize this advantage. Such that even when you look at some compound of homes you see them plants plantain or banana. Are we also have different species of this. So it depends on you which of them do you want to go for and why.

  • To some extent the farm planting arrangement will also motivate this type of crop to regenerate quickly even when it is been cut off its natural tree. I have not that during the rainy season it is really hard for some plantain or banana sucker to die easily. This is the fact that they are just to resistance to water. so when they have any type of contact with water they tends grow back within one or two weeks.

The bottom plant will always attract and grow back more planting or banana sucker. Although you need to always cater for them in order to give you a better plant inspiration. When I visit the phone I always get inspired by the nature itself.

When you sight that there are some flowers coming up or dropping down from the banana or plantain tree you must know that it is close to the fruiting stage. And this should be anything close to 7 months upward if you really manage your plants or plantation very well.

As low as the plantain or banana sucker just like you are seeing in this picture, it is very matured for transplanting into another agricultural Farmland entirely. This is to bring to our notice that the sucker has the ability to grow on its own for within few days after transplanting.

Before you can harvest but the banana or plantain tree originally you must take notes that the leaves must be totally dried up like this. When it is fully dried up then you can go ahead to harvest it. When you notice that they around still more green leaves standing with the fruit on the tree then you must give a 2 weeks interval and privilege before you come back to harvest it.

The way you manage your crop will give you 80% assurance of how best your crop will bear fruit. When you extensively give a lot of time to your crops then, you are doing a very great job.

  • You must first of all got it from the middle of the banana or plantain tree carefully so that you will not damage the whole fruit on the plant. When you want to also do this task you must hold the leaves carefully as well.

I see you take your plants seriously.

Thank you so much. Compliment of the season πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽ†πŸŽ‡

I am part of those people that can't differentiate between a plantain and a banana tree; even with all this explanation, I will still fail when I am asked to differentiate them.

I only get to know the difference after the fruits are matured, but I think when I see them closely physically, I might do better

Smile. Its very clear to see the differences if you are very observant in farming. When you see that there are more spotted black on the parent plant of the tree it is banana. The banana also has different species like I said earlier. There are some species that are grown in some States or in some countries that cannot grow in Nigeria. Due to the climate change.

Okay πŸ‘
Thank you πŸ€—
