Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗
I recently visited my in-laws during the weekend, and to my surprise, I noticed the water leaves and bitter leaves I planted have grown and are flourishing. I really couldn't believe my eyes.
I have not visited them for more than 9 months. The last time I visited them, we had used water leaves and bitter leaves to make soups, so I took the stem and planted them in their backyard. I was not sure if the bitter leaves were going to grow because I had no prior experience planting them before then, but I was certain the water leaves would thrive, as far as it keeps getting adequate water.
So I instructed the lady that usually goes to clean the house for them to put an eye on the plants and water them regularly.
At first I used to call to confirm if the lady had watered them, but as time passed I stopped calling her; I thought maybe the plants didn't survive.
Fast forward to my recent visit during the weekend, and when I went to the backyard, I was surprised when I saw the plants had grown and were flourishing.
I found out from my mother-in-law that the security guard has taken it upon himself to maintain and use the leaves. I was grateful and impressed by how he took care of them.
After seeing how those plants thrived, I think I am inspired to start my own garden in my backyard. Though I am particularly interested in growing water leaves. I'm already super excited to start on this project.
THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END 🤗
