Hello community, today I share with you a planting change that I had to make in relation to my sweet potato plantation.
A few weeks ago I planted sweet potatoes and it was from cuttings that still didn't have roots.
Generally, most of this branch even without roots when it is in the planted soil, if we water it every day, it takes root and the plant survives and develops, but there are always some of these plants that do not resist, for various reasons, or because they take root and the stem dries up, or because they are fragile and do not support planting in the soil, it could also be due to some disease that the plant has.
I bought some more sweet potatoes at the market here in the village where I work and they all have good roots, they were a little more expensive, but I hope this investment is worth it.
I had to pull out some plants that were drying out that weren't taking root and replace them with these new sweetpotato plants that already had roots.
I have already watered and at the end of the day I water again so that the soil sticks well to the roots of these new plants.
Now it's time to take care of these plants and wait for their development.
The climate is good for these plants as it is warm and the sweet potato plant likes these temperatures best in spring or summer.
So until my next share.
